  • Hi, I’m Dr. Dale Coleman, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I work with teens, adults, and couples who are ready to explore what’s beneath the surface and make meaningful shifts in their lives and relationships. Instead of focusing just on present issues and how to cope, I aim to investigate the underlying causes of symptoms so we can create long-lasting change.

While growing up, I learned early on how to navigate complicated family dynamics. That experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about human behavior, especially the unconscious ways we try to protect ourselves and how those strategies can cause unintended harm. Over time, curiosity turned into a passion for understanding the "why" behind behavior, and helping others reclaim a sense of power and purpose.

Before pursuing my education in psychology, I served in the United States Air Force. After my service, I moved to San Diego and began working in mental health rehabilitation centers, where I supported individuals through crisis intervention, client advocacy, and recovery from deeply challenging life events. These experiences deepened my respect for the resilience of the human spirit and broadened my appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives.

I went on to earn a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctorate in Psychology from Alliant International University. Today, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work where I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach that helps clients heal, grow, and move forward with intention.

  • I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a powerful, evidence-based approach that supports individuals and couples with moving beyond stuck patterns and building secure emotional connections. I also have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective therapy for processing and healing from trauma.

My doctoral research focused on the healing potential of combining ketamine-assisted therapy with EFT, an innovative integration that reflects my commitment to advancing mental health care through both research and evidence-based practice. I’m currently in the process of publishing this research.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or just feeling overwhelmed by life, I’m here to help you reclaim your clarity, confidence, and connection.

  • Hi, I’m Dr. Kore Brown, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I help individuals and couples move through anxiety, conflict, and emotional overwhelm into greater clarity, connection, and confidence. My holistic, biopsychosocial-spiritual approach goes beyond symptom management to get to the root of pain—not just to cope, but to truly heal.

I grew up in a small town across the Puget Sound from Seattle. Raised by a single mom and shaped by complex family dynamics, I became curious early on about how relationships impact our minds and our lives. That curiosity led me to study both English literature and neuroscience at UC Santa Barbara, where I explored the intersection of mental illness, creativity, and art—especially through the lens of poets like Sylvia Plath.

After college, I worked in corporate communications, advising companies through high-stakes crises like bankruptcies, leadership transitions, and litigation. While I learned how to navigate chaos with clarity, I eventually realized I didn’t want to help companies protect their bottom line—I wanted to help people thrive. That realization led me to pursue a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctorate in Psychology from Alliant International University.

  • I’ve since trained extensively in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals and couples break free from stuck patterns and build stronger emotional bonds. I’m also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a leading therapy for trauma. My doctoral research explored EFT with couples navigating cancer diagnoses—a reflection of my deep commitment to holistic, relationship-based care. I'm currently in the process of publishing that work.

Today, I integrate EFT and EMDR with mindfulness and somatic awareness, drawing on over a decade of experience as a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200). I offer a warm, affirming space where all identities and relationships are welcomed and celebrated. I work with teens, adults, and couples to compassionately shift unhelpful patterns and foster lasting change.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable—but it can also be the beginning of a new chapter. You may be amazed by how different life can feel when you begin tending to the emotional wounds that have long gone unhealed.

Sometimes the stressors of life can be so difficult to navigate alone and reaching out for help can be so hard. Maybe you are struggling with how you fit into the world or you’re caught in difficult relationship patterns with someone you care about. Whether you’re struggling with the distress of a past trauma or you’re in the midst of a difficult change such as a painful loss or a challenging life transition, healing is possible. You don’t have to do it alone.

If you’re ready to engage in a process of healing, I would be honored to be right there with you. Please feel welcome to reach for a free consultation call so that we can both explore the possibility of our working together.

  • Hi, I’m Herb Schnabel, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I help individuals, couples, and families navigate past trauma, relationship issues and difficult life transitions such as grief, loss, and gender transition. My trauma informed approach looks to get underneath the surface to address underlying pain and create lasting change. Additionally, as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have a special passion for providing affirmative care for those in this community.

Being a gay man who grew up in a family tainted by death and childhood trauma, I have always been curious about three profound aspects of life and family dynamics. These aspects include: how inherently traumatizing being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community can be, how early trauma can affect our mental health and relationships later in life, and how death and loss can hover over a family in an unspoken way. Eventually, this curiosity led to me becoming a therapist later in life.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the field of media for 25 years. After receiving my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in illustration and photography, I worked in the commercial photography industry in Minneapolis, mostly in the styling department. During this time, I also worked as an illustrator for clients such as Catholic Digest and The Wall Street Journal. Towards the end of this career, I volunteered for hospice agencies to explore if working in the field of mental health might be right for me. My volunteer work for hospice then led to my getting a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and becoming a therapist.

  • My approach integrates the three types of therapy that I am trained in: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). EMDR is an effective therapy for the processing and healing of trauma. I have found EMDR to be exceptional for the processing of trauma, the gaining of insight, and reducing the emotional charge related to traumatic experiences. EFT is an evidenced based approach that is profoundly effective in helping individuals, couples, and families heal relationships. And AEDP therapy helps individuals access underlying emotions with a trusted therapist to help find relief. There is also a part of AEDP therapy that accesses the creativity of the imagination to help heal pain and make important life decisions.

In addition to working with the above types of therapy, I also make use of play therapy and art

therapy for clients of all ages. I am also trained in helping youth and families navigate the difficult path of gender identity and gender expression.

I believe our natural state is to continue to heal and grow within ourselves and our relationships. We sometimes just need some support to access that growth. You are your most valuable resource. You may be surprised what happens when you begin tending to your own healing.
